Medical laboratory scientists tasks CJN on NIC judgement
The Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN) has called on the newly confirmed Chief Justice of the Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen, to use his good offices to ensure that the recent ruling of the National Industrial Court (NIC) against the Ministry of Health and Chief Medical Director and Director of Administration of Jos University Teaching Hospital is implemented.
The union stated this while congratulating him for his confirmation as the Chief Justice of Nigeria by the Senate. It noted that this will be an acid test for the new CJN’s readiness to enforce compliance with the rule of law and respect for the judiciary.
The AMLSN in a statement signed by its spokesman, Adeyeye Adetunji Tam, noted that it is elated to note the CJN’s pronouncements on his determination to face squarely those who have penchant in disobeying court orders.
